The Funeral Services for Mrs. Ethel P. Rollins, 96, of Shawnee Kansas Formerly of Enid Will Be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 19th, 2012 in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Ethel was born in Barber County, Ks in August of 1915 to Mr. Karl Shklar and Mrs. Florence Burgess Shklar and passed away Tuesday, May 15 at Sweet Life of Rosehill, Shawnee, Kansas. She married Dave Rollins in 1934 in Sapulpa, Ok. Ethel lived in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Nebraska and was a homemaker.
Ethel lived in Enid, Oklahoma for 39 years, moved to Duncan, Oklahoma in 2002 and then moved to the Kansas City area in 2007.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Dave, her daughters Sally Brown, Dava Sue Scifres, and Pat Rollins, her son-in-law Stan Scifres, and four sisters and one brother.
She is survived by two sons and their spouses, Jan (Connie) of Basehor, Ks and David (Nancy) of Sachse, Tx., thirteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and over 20 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to a charity of the donor's choice.
