Pamela Joyce Richardson, 58, died May 14, 2010 after a courageous seven-month battle from severe burns resulting from a house fire. She passed away peacefully at the Midwest Regional Hospital.
She was born February 27, 1952 in Enid, OK the fifth child of Hugh and Wyllelia Richardson. Pamela joined Grayson M. Baptist church at an early age. She attended Enid High School and later moved to Oklahoma City. While in Oklahoma City, Pamela"s professional life included working in the cellular communication field, the automotive administration field, and she later obtained her Real Estate licenses. Her interests included family and interior decorating. She devoted much of her time and energy as a homemaker.
Pamela is preceded in death by Her oldest sister, Eileen Hunt-Roland, and her mother, and father.
Pamela is survived by her daughter Joyce Patrice Richey-Simon (Coral Springs, FL) and son Steven M. Richey (Edmond, OK). She leaves seven grandchildren: Ramzi Simon, 12; Logan Simon, 11; Kennedy Simon, 8; Michael Simon, 5; Parker Simon, 4; Timothy Taylor Richey, 16; Andrew Richey, 3. One brother, Hugh D. Richardson. (Oklahoma City, OK), four sisters, Patricia A. Richardson-Watts (Shawnee, OK), Vivian J. Richardson (San Francisco, CA), Regina L. Richardson-Hall (Seguin, TX), Karol J. Richardson (Powder Springs, GA). In addition, Pamela leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pamela will be missed greatly by her family and everyone who knew her.
A graveside service will be held 1 P.M. Friday May 21, 2010 at the Enid Memorial Cemetery, Enid Oklahoma.
