Funeral service for Kathleen R. Reim, 78, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Steve Lance officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. She was born Dec. 25, 1934, in Ames, Okla., to Ira F. and Effie (Masel) Hickman Fyffe and passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Greenbrier Skilled Nursing Home.
She attended and graduated from Ames School, where she enjoyed playing basketball. She enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren’s activities. She married Roger Reim Sept. 13, 1953, in Ames, Okla. He passed away Dec. 25, 1996.
Kathleen opened and operated Northgate Dairy Delight in 1970, and sold the business in 1976. She was co-owner of Roger Reim Construction from 1966 to 1985. Kathleen worked as a nurse’s aide for St. Mary’s for many years and later for Evergreen Presbyterian Ministry as a caregiver. Kathleen was a member of Central Assembly of God.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Lynn Reim and wife Diana of Meno, and Stephen Brent Reim and wife Debbie of Chickasha; daughters, Verla Patzkowsky husband Rudy of Okeene, Cynthia Myers of Enid, and Pamela Hickey and husband John of Hennessey; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Emma Rikli of Drummond; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ira J. Fyffe; and sister, Ruby DeHaas.
