Funeral service for Sammy Ramer, Jr., 55, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Knopps officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Sammy was born to Sam and Doris (Waggoner) Ramer on Jan. 2, 1959, in Enid, and passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, in Enid.
Sammy graduated from Chisholm High School, where he was the FFA reporter, and showed prize steers.
He mostly worked with his family in the automotive business, where he continually met and gained new friends. Sammy loved Corvettes and enjoyed rebuilding them.
He married Linda McLaughlin on July 19, 1985. Sammy loved playing the guitar, fishing and traveling. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Sammy is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Nathan Ramer and Victoria of Norman, Dustin Ramer and Lisa, and Amanda Bernal, all of Enid; nine grandchildren; his parents, Sam and Doris Ramer of Enid; two brothers, Richard Ramer of Enid and Randy Ramer of Tulsa; two sisters, Marcia Wright and Roxanna Armstrong, both of Enid.
Memorials may be made to OMRF-Cystic Fibrosis Division.
