A Celebration of Life for Beatrice (Cross) Roelse, 84, of Enid, is 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Bea was born December 31, 1937, in Enid to Chester and Ruby (Fluman) Cross and passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022, in Enid.
Bea attended school in Ames and Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1955. She married Alvin Roelse on May 25, 1958, at the Washington Avenue Church of Christ.
Bea is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Roelse; her parents; and two brothers, Clifford and Gordon Cross.
She is survived by three children: Michael Roelse, of Pottsboro, TX, Gary Roelse, of Manvel, TX, Deborah Lucas and husband Paul, of League City, TX; three grandchildren, Holly Ruhl and husband Aaron, of Frisco, TX, Sarah Fox and husband Jon, of Houston, TX, Josh Lucas, of League City, TX; three great-grandchildren, Desmond and Aurelia Ruhl and James Fox. She also leaves her two sisters, Fern Boe and Betty Nault, both of Enid, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other friends and family.
Memorial contributions in Bea's name may be made to the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center and the Reba McEntire Center for Rehabilitation, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
