ENID, Okla. - Funeral service for Lorene Pryor, 88, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at First United Methodist Church. Rev. Randy Mitchell will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Memorial Park Cemetery. Service is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Lorene was born July 7, 1924, in Loving, Okla., to James and Georgia Hawthorne Brown and passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, in Tulsa.

She attended school in Loving, Okla.

She moved to Tulsa, where she met her husband William B. MacKenzie. The couple moved to California to help with the war effort.

They moved to Enid in 1956 to be near family. William preceded her in death in 1959. She married Irvin Pryor in 1964, in Enid. Irvin preceded her in death in 1996.

She is survived by sons, Randy MacKenzie and John MacKenzie, both of Tulsa, and daughter, DeDe Ross of Spring, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two brothers and two sisters.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
