The funeral for Bill H. Pritchett, 80, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2006, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dan Barrick, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6-8 today at the funeral home.
Bill was born Feb. 19, 1926, in Cushing, OK to Noble and Lilly (Boyd) Pritchett and died Wednesday, June 28, 2006.
He married Virginia Gibson March 28, 1946, in Kansas City, KS. He served in the Navy during World War II on the BB62 USS New Jersey “Battlewagon.” Bill worked for 43 1/2 years at Pillsbury Milling Company and owned a small dairy farm.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia of the home; sons, Bill Pritchett and wife Bobbie of Bison, Bob Pritchett and wife Susie, Toby Pritchett and wife Sharon, Steve Pritchett, and David Pritchett and wife Carma, all of Enid; 19 grandchildren, Bobbie, Becky, Francine, Kristi, Walker, Rodney, Scott, Kelli, Amy, Jonathan, Tawnia, Lori, Chris, Bradley, Melanie, Shane, Sheena, Kane and Augie; and 26 great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Hunter, Kristi, Herb Jr., Taylor, Cody, Dillon, Megan, Cassie, Jake, Jeremy, Emma, Katie, Ramiah, Joshua, Misti, Logan, Tanner, John Thomas, Robbie, Noah, Aspen, Lakin, Jessica, A.J. and Madeliene.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
