Wallace (Wally) N. Price, 79, passed away September 28, 2005. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2005 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Tim Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Wallace was born to Fred and Anna Melson February 25, 1926 in Amarillo, TX. Anna died in 1928 and at the age of three, Wallace was adopted by Elmer and Lela Snyder Price. Wallace attended Woodrow Wilson grade school, Longfellow Junior High and Enid High School. He spent two years in the US Army with the Combat Engineers and serving in the Philippines with the 1294 Engineer Battalion. After the service he returned to Enid and married Imogene Lovelace. They had two children, Kim Price and Nancy Price Simon. He was employed by Champlin Petroleum for 30 years. In 1987 he married Helen Hartzog.

He is survived by his wife, Helen of the home; son Kim Price and wife Liz of Enid; daughter Nancy Simon and husband David of Forrest City, AR; grandchildren Russell Simon and wife Erin, Adam and Holly Simon of Forrest City, AR, Parker Simon of Fayetteville, AR, Wendi Price of Washington, DC and Brett Price of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by step-sons Darrell Wood and wife Teresa and Donnie Wood and wife Dana; step grandchildren, Chanda Kapke and husband Daniel, Brad Wood and wife Windy, Kelly Wood and Shelly Wood; and step great grandchild Alex Kapke, all of Enid; nieces Sandra McDonald, Vanda Gilliam, Lynetta Petree, Ginger Dwight and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Geraldine and brother Jack.

Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Building Fund. Wallace was faithful attendee of Emmanuel where he so enjoyed his Sunday School class, Tool Time taught by Tim Taylor. Condolences may be sent to the family at ladusauevans.com
