Brian M. Powell, 43, of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 24, 2012, following a short illness. He was born Nov. 5, 1969 in San Antonio, Texas. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at the Mausoleum Chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery, located in Enid, Okla.

He is survived by his mother, Marian Arlene Kraus Pevehouse and stepfather, Bob Pevehouse of San Antonio; his father, Larry R. Powell and stepmother, Kathleen Powell of Houston; brother, Steven R. Powell and sister-in-law Sharon of San Antonio, Texas; and nieces, Stephanie Powell and Allison Powell of San Antonio, Texas. Additional survivors include two aunts, Marjorie Kraus Fainer of Wichita, Kan., and Nancy Kraus Bowling of Blackwell, Okla.

Brian was preceded in death by maternal grandparents George and Helen Kraus of Enid, uncle Robert Kraus; paternal grandmother, Connie Erick Powell; and great grandparents, Jake and Katie Erick of Shattuck/Enid.

Funeral arrangements originated in Lihui, Kauai, Hawaii by Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
