ENID, OK — Celebration of Life service for Ruth Pettitt, 74, of Enid, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Wade will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family is 6-7 p.m. today, Aug. 17, at the funeral home. Service is under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Ruth was born June 15, 1940, to Glenn and Ruth Coslett of Danville, Kan., and died Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, in Enid, Okla.
She resided in Wichita, Kan., before moving to Enid, Okla. She met and married Kenneth Wayne Pettitt and they made their home in Enid.
Ruth worked for Zales Jewelers for over 25 years and Walmart stores for almost 15 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Shari and Jesse Lamunyon and family of Waukomis, Okla., and Lori Maddox and family of Livingston, Texas; two sons, Keith and Sandra Reynolds and family of Livingston, Texas, and Ronnie Gene Reynolds of Livingston, Texas; one stepdaughter, Vicki and Gary Mills and family of Ardmore, Okla.; two sisters, Rita Cole of Blackwell, Okla., and Willadean and Earl Coffman of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Verle and Jean Ann Coslett of Oklahoma City; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ken; son, Terry; brother, Kenneth; and sister, Jewels N. Fullen.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
