ENID - The funeral for Evelyn Wilma Peters, 89, will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Christo-pher Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 14, 1920, in Canton, Kan., to Otto and Amanda Kriethe Schlicht and died Tuesday, March 2, 2010.

She attended school in Canton, Kan., before moving to Fairmont in 1933.

She married Harold Peters July 21, 1940, in Fairmont. He died April 13, 1985.

She worked as a CNA at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center and St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Red Hat Club at Golden Oaks.

She also was a quilter for Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont.

Surviving are one son, Lindell Peters of Enid; two daughters, Loretta Blodgett of Lahoma and Connie House of Enid; one sister, Mildred Miesner of Fairmont; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Redeemer Lutheran Church building fund.
