The funeral for Ada Armetta Payne, 97, of Oklahoma City, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at Demuth Funeral Home, Oklahoma City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid.

She was born Sept. 22, 1911, in Fay to Henry and Clara Reininger and died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, in Oklahoma City.

She was a registered nurse by trade.

Surviving are two sons, Dale Payne of Edmond and Mark Payne of Frisco, Texas; one daughter, Armetta Smitley of St. Louis, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Wesley Payne.
