Funeral service for Mary Dyann Parson, 66, Enid, is 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends is 5-6 p.m. this evening, Sept. 8, 2017, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Dyann was born Nov. 12, 1950, in Leesville, La., to John and Mary (Burris) McMullen, and passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, in Enid. Dyann grew up in Enid, and graduated from Enid High School. She worked as an LPN at NORCE, and several other nursing homes in Enid. Dyann married Roger Parson Feb. 23, 2002, in Enid. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and loved her cats.
Dyann is survived by her husband, Roger; brother, Eric McMullen and wife Pat, Enid; brother-in-law, Larry Parson and wife, Jeanne, Edmond; and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Paul, and her sister, Susan Polwart.
