The Mass of Christian Burial for Dwayne Leroy Posey is 2:00PM Friday, December 15, 2023 in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Rev. Father Robert Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Dwayne was born October 13, 1942 in Enid to Marvin and Della (Maker) Posey and died Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in St. Mary's Hospital.
After High School Dwayne enlisted in the United States Navy. After his service he returned to Enid where he owned and operated Wheat Capital Communications for 50 years. He was a long-time member of St. Francis Xavier, a member of the Knight of Columbus, and was a devoted volunteer at Our Daily Bread. He enjoyed fixing up old cars and was Past President of the Hamm Radio Club.
He is survived by his brothers; Gary (Doris), Dennis (Martha) and Ronald (Judie) Posey, his best friends Rich and Shirley Zawila, business partner
Mike Coleman, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Shirley Joan and brother Ralph.
Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to Our Daily Bread.
