The funeral for Dorothy Maxine Norris, 84, will be 1 p.m. today at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom Cooksey will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born July 6, 1922, in Alva to Oscar and Mable Funk Harzman and died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, in Enid.
She grew up in Alva and graduated from Alva High School. She attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
She married Earl Crowder in 1942, in Alva, where they made their home. She later married Dr. Howard Norris in May 1964 in Enid. They lived in Enid, and she worked as a secretary at Vance Air Force Base. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, Stanley Crowder of Cherokee; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Howard, and one sister.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
