The memorial service for Mary Hope (Powell) Nicar, 84, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at First Christian Church, 312 W. Comanche St., Norman. Private family burial is Friday, March 15, 2013, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid. Arrangements by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born April 8, 1928, in Enid to Dr. Wilfred and Lois (Lemon) Powell, and died Friday, March 8, 2013.
Surviving are her three children, Robin Nicar, Bill Nicar and Nicolette Nicar, all of Norman; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reo, and two sisters.
