Coraleene Myrtle (Tapp) Neundorf
January 16, 1935 - November 4, 2024
Graveside services for Coraleene Myrtle Neundorf, 89, Enid resident, will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in Memorial Park Cemetery With Bill Honeycutt officiating. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Coraleene was born on January 16, 1935 in Canyon City, Colorado and passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024 in Enid.
She lived most of her life in Enid. Her parents were George and Willa (Bradney) Tapp. She was the youngest of five children, Eugene, Vera Moulton, Virgil and Jesse. During World War II, Coraleene lived in Topeka, Kansas for three years and returned to Enid when the war ended. She graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1953. She had started working for Southwestern Bell as a long distance telephone operator before graduating. December 24, 1953 She also enjoyed working at the YWCA helping other people for many years.
Coraleene married Alton J. Neundorf while he was home on leave from the Army. He was in Germany for fifteen months following their marriage. In 1955, they moved to Garber, Oklahoma and began their farming life. She was a member of Willow Road Christian Church. They had three children, Gwen, LaVena and Galen. Coraleene loved sewing. She started making her own clothing in the fifth grade and made many garments for her family. She also enjoyed her yard and flowers.
Coraleene is survived by her three children, Gwen Overton of Enid, LaVena and husband Mike Rayner of Enid and Galen Neundorf of Garber; grandchildren, Jayton Tautfest of Lamont, Austin Tautfest of Tonkawa, Britni Kombos of Nacogdoches, Texas, Chase Hardin of Enid, Branden Salyer of Loveland, Colorado; great-grandchildren, Jacob Tautfest, Jaxton Tautfest, Kace Tautfest, Nikolaos Kombos, John Kombos, Loukas Kombos, Juliana Kombos, Constatine Kombos, one brother, Jesse Tapp and his wife Gayle.
