ENID, Okla. — Graveside service for Robert “Bob” Allen Mosher, 92, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Mausoleum Chapel in Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. today, March 5, at the funeral home.
Bob was born July 6, 1921, in Kingfisher, Okla., to Fred and Pearl Bryant Mosher and passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
Bob grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School 1940.
He served in the U.S. Army as a tank commander during WWII.
Bob married Bettye Wilson on May 6, 1944, in Rogers, Ark. She passed away June 30, 2005.
They moved to Enid in 1945, where he began working for Bond Bakery as a salesman for over 30 years. He worked as a custodian for Enid Public Schools until he retired. Bob served as a past commander of American Legion.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Vicki and husband Randy Young of Enid; granddaughters, Cherilyn Cowan, and Brandi and John Sutton; grandson, Robert Bruce Mosher; great-grandchildren, Mercedes, Madelyn, Frankie Sutton, Bryson and Braylee Gritz, and Savannah Mosher.
Bob was preceded in death by his son, Jim Mosher; two brothers, Mike and Fred Mosher; and a sister, Babe Steele.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, cancer division, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
