The funeral for John Robert "Bob" Morsbach, 82, will be 2 PM Tuesday at Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with family will be 7:53 PM Monday at the funeral home.
He was born September 28, 1917, near Farry to William and Myra May Reed Morsbach and died Friday, May 26, 2000, at his home in Enid.
He attended school at Day Creek and Enterprise and later Oklahoma State University. He was elected Junior Master Farmer of Oklahoma in 1937. He was employed by the government as an inspector and was a farmer near Freedom. On November 5, 1939, he married Susan Lucille Collie. She died March 13, 1968.
On May 5, 1987, he married Rosamond Mitchell. They lived in Enid.
Surviving are his wife, Rosamond of the home; one daughter, Pam Patzer of Newark, New Jersey; two step daughters, Sherris McMahan of St. Louis, and Kathryn McMahan of Oklahoma City; one step son, Steven Mitchell of Sapulpa; four step grandchildren; and three step great – grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Memorials but be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
