Mrs. Pauline Morris, 1824 W. Broadway, died Tuesday evening following an illness of several months.
Born at Center Point, Arkansas, she moved to Wilson at the age of 19. She married C. B. Morris in Ardmore in 1935 and they moved to Enid in 1937. He preceded her in death December 21, 1969. Mrs. Morris was in the ladies ready – to – wear business for many years locally.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Daughters of the American Revolution, and was active in the Cheery Cherry Red Ladies at Bass Baptist Hospital.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. E. C. Blossom, Enid; one brother, Dan C. Custer, Cushing; two nieces and nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Young, Enid, and Mr. and Mrs. Dan C. Custer Jr., Colorado Springs, Colorado; three great – nieces and one great – nephew.
Funeral services will be at 1 PM Thursday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Russell and Dr. Robert J. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
