Funeral services for C. B. Morris, 1624 W. Broadway, will be Wednesday at 10 AM in the Henninger – Allen Chapel with Dr. John Russell and Dr. Robert J. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

He died Sunday in a local hospital following a long illness. He was 76.

Born in Midlothian, Texas, he moved to the Ringling area as a small child and was reared there. He married the former Pauline Custer in Ardmore in 1935.

During World War I, he served in the Balloon Corps. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, 32° Mason in the Ringling Lodge, former president of Ringling Rotary club, and the American Legion.

He moved to Enid in 1937 and had lived here since. He was in business in ladies ready – to – wear shops for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline, of the home; and a brother, J. T. Morris, Ringling.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Enid and the First United Methodist Church of Ringling, with Henninger – Allen as fund custodians.
