Funeral services for Mrs. Jim (Neva) Morlan, 64, 418 S. Harding, will be held Thursday at 2 PM in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Chapel with George R. Mayfield officiating. In burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Morlan died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital following a brief illness. She had been employed by Ila's Handcraft and Bazaar Center, and was a lifetime member of the Royal Neighbors. She was also a member of the Better Living Club and of Leedy Chapter No. 287 of the O. E. S. She was a member of the Lahoma Road Church of Christ.
Born October 6, 1907 at Leedy, she was raised and attended schools in the Leedy and Trail communities. She married Jim Morlan December 29, 1924 in Camargo. They came to Enid in 1947.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Schneider, Council Grove, Kansas; her mother, Mrs. Sadie Kenneaster, Woodward; two granddaughters,; three brothers, Clyde Kenneaster, Corpus Christi, Texas, Vernon Kenneaster, Wichita, Kansas, and Leo Kenneaster, Toledo, Illinois; and one sister, Mrs. Leo (Imogene) Pierson, Woodward.
