Jefferson – Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday for Roy C. Morgan, 76, who died Sunday night in an Enid hospital. Rites will be held in the Jefferson United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Lyons and Rev. R. W. Sharp officiating.
Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, under the direction of the Wilson Funeral Home of Pond Creek.
Morgan formerly owned a hatchery in both Jefferson and Pond Creek. He also was a former vocational agriculture teacher.
Born in Beaty, Kansas, he was a veteran of World War I and a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Lulu, of the Jefferson home; three daughters, Mrs. Joe "Wanda" Boruff, Enid; Mrs. Eugene "Leota" Reames, Midwest City; and Mrs. Raymond "Leora" O'Mealey, Ponca City; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Mollie Sandberg, Garber.
