The service celebrating the life of Margie Lue Moore, 92, of Wichita Falls, Texas, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, in Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, Enid, Okla., with Pastor Mark Fox officiating. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Margie Lue Moore was born Dec. 16, 1922, to Dennis F. and Katie J. (Gates) Veazey of Cordell, Okla. She grew up on a farm near Sentinel, Okla., where she was raised and educated.

She married Alvis Bowen and they lived in Hobart, Okla., then Lawton, Okla. He preceded her in death.

On Feb. 2, 1963, she married Herman A. Moore in Wichita Falls, Texas. They moved to Enid in 1963, where she and Herman made their home.

She worked in child care at Vance Air Force Base from 1976 to 1999 when she retired. Herman preceded her in death on Aug. 6, 2003.

She is survived by two sons, Danny Bowen and wife Linda of Charlottesville, Va., and Curt Moore of Great Falls, Mont.; five daughters, Linda White of Edmond, Linda Gasvoda and husband Jim of Stockett, Mont., Leslie Anderson of Billings, Mont., Jean Johnston of Great Falls, Mont., and Ladena Marshall and husband Jerry of Wichita Falls, Texas; 27 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, five brothers, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.

Memorials may be made to Elder Care of Enid, Okla., or Hospice of Wichita Falls, Texas, with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
