April 26, 1935 - June 23, 2018

A Celebration of Life for Donald Earl Don Moore, age 83, of Enid, is 11:00 am, Wednesday June 27, 2018 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Don was born April 26, 1935 in Drumright, Oklahoma to Harley and Hazel (Neal) Moore and passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Enid. He grew up in Konawa, Oklahoma and graduated from Shawnee High School, where he was on the high school tennis team. Don attended Oklahoma State University where he received his degree in education. He taught art and coached for a number of years at Waller Jr. High in Enid. Upon obtaining his masters degree, he became a school guidance counselor.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Hazel Moore.

He is survived by his two children, son, Ronald Moore, of Houston, TX; daughter, Jamie Underwood and husband Michael, of Edmond, OK; six grandchildren; Laura Ann Kay (Joe) of North Carolina; Natalie Moore, of Richmond, VA; Dr. Sarah Dixon (Joel) of Cambridge, England; Jordan Underwood (Elise) of Edmond; Dr. Hannah Moery (Brad) of Williamsville, NY; Leah Skaggs (Eric) of Oklahoma City; five great-grandchildren; a brother, J. Harold Moore (Helen) of Wagoner, OK; and his long-time companion and best friend, Carolyn Kurz, of Enid; as well as three nephews and a niece.

Memorials in Dons name may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Heart Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
