Service for Roger Lynn Mittelstet, 58, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2010, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. Kenneth Wade will officiate. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Roger was born to Johnie and Esther Mittelstet Dec. 10, 1951, in Enid, Okla., and died Monday, July 26, 2010, surrounded by family and friends at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He graduated from Enid High School in 1970, attended Phillips University and worked in contractor sales for many years, most recently for Hughes Lumber. He is survived by Pamela Plank of Enid; three daughters, Shanna Mittelstet-Randle, Heidi and husband Josh Perkins and Jenny and husband Trey Benton, all of Enid; two sons, Caleb Mittelstet and wife Rachelle of Roseville, Calif., and Andrew Mittelstet of Enid; 18 grandchildren; mother, Esther Mittelstet of Enid; sister, Kathleen Nutting and husband Francis of Arvada, Colo.; brothers, Randall Mittelstet and wife Diana of Arvada, Colo., and Brian Mittelstet and wife C.J. of Enid.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Philip, and father, Johnie Mittelstet.
Memorials may be made to Relay for Life or St. Paul’s Lutheran School Scholarship Fund with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodians of the funds.
