Graveside services for James Earl Mitchell, 48 year old former Enid resident will be held 10 AM Thursday, June 22, 2000 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid with pastor Ted Kuschel officiating. Arrangements are by Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
James was born December 30, 1951 to Max and Ethel Mitchell of Enid and died June 16, 2000 in California where he was living. His death occurred as the result of an auto accident in San Juan Capistrano, California.
He graduated from Enid high school in 1970 and then served in the US Air Force from 1972 to 1975 as an Avionic Communications Technician. He graduated from Saddleback Community College at Mission Viejo, California in 1994 where he learned to design and install irrigation systems.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: one sister, Sharon Epps of Canyon Lake, California; and his paternal grandmother, Ione Mitchell of Enid, Oklahoma.
Memorials in his name may be made to Emmanuelle Baptist Church Building Fund with Henninger – Allen Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
