Funeral service celebrating Lonetta “Lonnie” Minter, 70, of Enid, will be 10:00 AM, Monday, September 17, 2018, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Bruyn officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation with the family will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
Lonnie was born December 22, 1947, in Enid, to Leon and Leola (Wiseman) Lynch, and passed away on Thursday, September 13, at her home in Enid.
Lonnie grew up and attended Enid Public School. On June 18, 1966 she married Mike Minter in Enid, where they made their home. She worked various jobs, but the most rewarding was being a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed sewing, and spending time with her family. Lonnie was a member of Graceway Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father Leon Lynch.
Lonnie is survived by her husband Mike; 2 sons Daniel Minter (Tammy) of Fruita, Colorado, and Matthew Minter (Melissa) of Enid; 7 grandchildren Daytona, Elisha, Austin, Makenna, Jacob, Zach, and Roman; mother Leola Lynch of Enid; brother Larry Lynch (Doretha) of Carrier; and 2 sisters Linna Cagle (Bob) of Newcastle, and Marsha Ferris (John) of Elmore City.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Hospice Circle of Love.
