Graveside service for Phyllis Rae Miller, 85, of Enid, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Visitation with the family is 5:30-7 p.m. today, June 2, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Phyllis was born Aug. 22, 1929, in North Enid to Rufus and Leona Bucholz Johnson and died Tuesday, June 30, 2015, in Enid.
She grew up in North Enid and graduated from Kremlin High School.
On March 16, 1948, Phyllis married Zennon “Jack” Miller in North Enid. They followed Jack’s military assignments before moving back to Enid. She was a devoted mom and enjoyed playing bingo.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl and husband Jim Mitchell, Enid, Janice Miller, Mustang, and Dayna and husband Leo Failing, Enid; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
