Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Beverly Merett, 79, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday June 23, 2015, at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Pastor Kevin Strope will officiate. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 9 a.m. until service time.
Beverly was born Feb. 19, 1936, in Loyal, Okla., and passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015. She was the daughter of Clifford and Beatrice Blunk Davis.
She was a graduate of Alva High School in 1954.
Beverly was united in marriage to Donald Merett May 26, 1956, in Alva, Okla. He preceded her in death July 14, 1990.
She was an accomplished artist and enjoyed boating and fishing, baking, knitting, crocheting and gardening. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Kyle Clayton and his wife Judy, Jeremy Clayton and his wife Sarah, Louis Blowers, Tamarra Joy Brumley, Takara Barba and her husband Jorge, Taleigh Garcia and her husband Alex and Duane Turner and his wife Shanna, and 16 great-grandchildren, Astrid, Beatrix, Brionna, Carter, Tyler, Andrew, Buck, Isabella, Bentley, Areli, Kaiden, Theresa, Isaias, Nicole, Grace and Ethan.
She was preceded in death by daughters Thena Blowers and Theresa Kellogg and, as an infant, Mona.
Memorial contributions may be made to Enid SPCA, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home custodian of funds.
