Funeral services for David Ray McNickle, 14, of 3106 Redbird, will be at 11 AM Monday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert DeMoss and Phil Davis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

McNickle was killed in a helicopter cash Friday near Norman.

Born August 25, 1966, in Ardmore, McNickle was the son of Glenn and Ramona McNickle. He attended Glenwood Grade School and was a ninth – grader at Waller Junior High School at the time of his death.

McNickle was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was in summer league baseball having been on the Larry Black team. He was in the honor society at Waller Junior High. He was president of his home room and chairman of his youth group at Christ Methodist.

Survivors include his mother, Ramona, of the home; a sister, Jeanne, of the home; and his grandparents, Mrs. Gladys McNickle, Enid; and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Blazer of Enid.

Memorials may be given to the Christ United Methodist Church. Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home will serve as custodian of the fund.
