Noble O. McLemore Sr., 71, 229 E. Pine, died Tuesday morning in a local hospital following a period of ill health. The service will be at 2:30 PM Thursday in Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard Snell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

McLemore was born March 1, 1908, at Maud, and lived in Perry prior to moving to Enid in 1936. He married Roxie Beauchamp August 8, 1938, at Stillwater.

McLemore was dispatcher for the Cab office for a number of years.

Survivors include his wife, Roxie; two sons, Noble McLemore Jr., Enid, and Bill McLemore, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; one daughter, Mrs. Tom (Arlene) Smith, Enid; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bill (Esther) Kyser, Dallas, Texas; and three brothers, Marland, Seagoville, Texas, Roland, San Diego, California, and Sid, Claremore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.
