The funeral for Bob McIntyre, 71, who died Monday at Bass Baptist Hospital, will be at 2 PM Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis Corporon officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born May 9, 1917, in Enid, he graduated from Enid High School and attended Phillips University. On April 14, 1942, he married Faye Wise – Street. During World War I I, he served in the U. S. Navy and saw combat in the South Pacific.

He returned to Enid and worked for Long Bell Lumber Company and Krishchke Air Conditioners. He also worked as a highway patrolman and an undersheriff and helped install street meters in Enid.

McIntire, a 33rd degree Mason, was a member of Garfield Masonic Lodge No. 501, York Right, Masonic Funeral Team and Central Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
