ENID, OK — Funeral service for Jack McGee will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at Willow View United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday and Saturday at Ladusau Evans Funeral Home with the family on hand from 3-4 p.m. Saturday.

Jack was born Feb. 14, 1947, to George and Mary Anne McGee of Enid. He went to be in the Arms of his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014.

Jack graduated from Enid High School in 1965.

He Served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969, and was honorably discharged as a captain.

Jack married Carolyn Hammons in Fort Sill, Okla., on Sept. 1, 1967.

Jack had one son, Bryan, who was born March 3, 1969.

Before leaving the Army, Jack touched many lives along his path.

Jack and Carolyn skated competitively for 10 years and he coached for eight years.

In 1977, they moved to Enid and opened McGee Floor Covering, which Bryan still runs today.

Jack was a deacon at Davis Park Christian Church. He had a deep love for his church and His Savior. He was currently attending Willow View United Methodist Church and was part of the Praise and Worship Choir.

Jack coached baseball through EJRT and American Legion for 15 years.

Jack and Carolyn managed Skatetown for 13 years. He touched many lives while walking on this earth and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; son, Bryan and wife Natalie and three grandchildren; sisters, Betty Anne Hughey and Kathy Fetsch and husband Larry; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Anne Peckham; father, George McGee; brothers, Charles and Clifford McGee; and sister, Fran Rauch.

Memorials may be made to Willow View United Methodist Church.
