February 24, 1939 - December 05, 2018
A Celebration of Life service for Lona Mae McClendon age 79 of Enid will be 10:00 am Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 6:00 pm Tuesday, December 11, 2018.
Lona Mae was born February 24, 1939, in Sallisaw, OK to Willard V. and Zelda A. (Boggs) Dodd and passed away December 5, 2018 in the Garland Road Nursing Center. She attended school in Sallisaw. Lona Mae married J.T. McClendon in 1955 in Sallisaw and he passed away December 15, 2005. She worked in sales in ladies apparel for many years.
She is survived by her son Randy McClendon and wife Suzanne, granddaughters, Alyssa Melkus and husband Christopher and Kayci McClendon, great grandchild, Madisyn Ridge and her loving dog Mollie.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
