February 02, 1929 - January 23, 2019

Betty Jean Ratzlaff LaCourse Manning, age 89, of Edmond, formerly of Enid went home to be with the Lord, January 23rd, 2019. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Betty was born February 2, 1929, in Isabella, OK, to John B and Agnes Bekker Ratzlaff. She grew up in Fairview, OK. She met Brien LaCourse in Enid where he was stationed at Vance AFB. They were married August 11, 1945, in Greenville, MS. After his death in 1988, she married Robert Manning in Medford, OK, October 10, 1990.

While growing up she worked in the family's creamery in Fairview, OK. She worked for Safeway Grocery in the meat department; worked for Root Real Estate where she eventually received her realtor license. She was a member of the Moose Club in Enid and in her retired years she loved playing Bingo, dominoes and worked jigsaw puzzles.

Survivors include sons, Jim LaCourse of Jenks, OK, Rod LaCourse (Stacey) of Glendora, CA; a daughter, Cindi Posey (Hal) of Edmond, OK; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Brien and Robert; 3 sisters, Tillie Nightengale, Elsie Kahn, and Adeline Koehn; her grandson, Scott LaCourse; and daughter-in-law, Vondal LaCourse.
