Funeral services for Roy George Mahan, age 83, of Enid, are 1:00 pm Monday, October 22, 2018, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Keith Luttrell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Roy was born January 28, 1935 in Enid Oklahoma to Opal and Roy C. Mahan.
Roy graduated from Enid High School in 1953 where he developed many lifelong friendships. After high school he served in the United States Navy. He later got his Bachelor Degree of Accounting from Phillips University. He started his career at Hackney Iron & Steel and then worked at Vance Air Force Base as a Comptroller until his retirement.
Roy treasured spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by Debbie (Mark) Gardner of Edmond, OK, Randy (Lori) Mahan of Wichita, KS, and Shelley (Brad) Graham of Argyle, TX. Grandchildren: Garrett, Owen and Jack Graham, Taylor Mahan McKee, Conner Mahan and Christian Gardner; and brother, Bill Mahan of Bethany, OK.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Opal Mahan, daughter Sharon Mahan, wife Janell Mahan and brothers Paul and Leon Mahan.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mason Andrews, the nursing staff at St. Mary's Hospital and Greenbrier skilled nursing.
Memorials can be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Renal Cancer Division, Enid SPCA, or FurEver Friends with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
