July 11, 1946 - November 13, 2024

A Celebration of Life Service for Jamie Kay Moore, age 78, of Enid, will be at 2:00 pm Friday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Eddie Tabeling officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Jamie was born July 11, 1946, in Enid to James and Maribel Baker Moore and passed away November 13, 2024, in the Baptist Village of Enid. She grew up in Enid, attending Longfellow Jr. High and graduating from Enid High School in 1964. She graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Education in 1970. She moved to San Antonio, TX, and started working for the San Antonio ISD in August, 1970. She later received her Masters of Education from Texas A&M in Kingsville, TX. She retired after 30 years with SAISD.

Jamie played softball with her mother for years on a traveling team. She enjoyed many years traveling throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Jamie enjoyed her many friends in San Antonio. Jamie moved back to Enid in 2022. Jamie was an avid Oklahoma Sooner fan.

Jamie is survived by Bernita Helberg, her lifelong friend and traveling companion, sister Larrie Ann (Jim) Halbrook, two nieces, Hillarie (Greg) Graham, Heather Halbrook, and nephew, Hayden (Chesney) Halbrook, great nieces, Autumn Graham and Laikyn Halbrook, and great nephew, Tanis Halbrook.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
