Linda Susan Mason
May 7, 1952 - August 28, 2024
Celebration of Life Service for Susan Mason, age 72, of Enid will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Choate officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Susan was born May 7, 1952 in Enid, to Jackie Neal and Christine Marie (Martin) Hahn and went home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2024 in Enid.
She grew up in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1970. She later attended Northern Oklahoma College, and the University of Nebraska, Omaha. As a child, she most enjoyed going to her Gram's house after school and in the summer.
While working at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma, Susan met and married her husband, Bruce Mason. They married on March 24, 1984 in Enid. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. As a mom, she wore many hats. Susan was a baseball, soccer, softball, baton twirling, dance, band, boy scouts and girl scouts mom. In addition to nurturing her own children, she was a teacher's assistant for Enid Public Schools for twenty years. She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. Known as the cat lady, she took in many strays through the years.
She is survived by her husband Bruce, and her children; Micheal Good, Sarah (Sam) Burnett, Brent Mason, Bethany (Logan) Stuckey, Brenna (Matt) Larson, and seven grandchildren.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, brother John, and son Brian.
