December 24, 1930 - March 23, 2018

A memorial service for Jo Lucas, 87, will be 11:00 AM, Friday, April 6, 2018, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Jo was born December 24, 1930 in Leedey, Oklahoma to Charles Batie and Myrtle (Alexander) Gann, and passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 in Enid.

Jo grew up in Camargo, Oklahoma and later moved to Woodward. On September 14, 1952 she married Gene Lucas in Woodward. She was an avid flower gardener and thunder basketball fan. Jo was a member of St. Pauls and Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Jo is survived by her 4 sons Mark Lucas of Dallas, Tx, Brett Lucas of Enid, Patrick Lucas of Fairmont, and Kelly Lucas of Blackwell; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters Hazel Brown of Marlow, and Zada Poage of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gene, 5 brothers Ralph, O.B., Sam, Kenneth, Eugene, 3 sisters Leona, Blanch Knox, and Billie Leonard, and one grandson Jeremiah.
