A Celebration of Life Service for Margaret Pauline Lowe, age 90, will be at 2:00 PM Friday, October 13, 2017, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. David A. Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by Jack W. Lowe.
Margaret was born to Fred and Ollie Irving Otwell on November 17, 1926, in Gooseankle, Arkansas, and passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, in Liberal, Kansas.
She attended school in Prescott, Arkansas. Margaret loved music, cooking, bowling and telling jokes. On October 24, 1945, she married Jack Bertrum Lowe in Lompoc, California. She was a pastor’s wife and lived in Enid for nineteen years. Margaret was a member of the Nazarene District Missions Board, and served on many district and local committees.
Margaret is survived by two sisters, Virginia Meador of El Dorado, Arkansas and Sue Nelson of North Little Rock, Arkansas; children, Jack and wife Patti, Janice, Becki, Amelia and husband Andy, Barbara and husband David, and Jonathan and wife Cindy; grandchildren: Christy and husband Anthony, Kevin and wife Laura, Julie and husband Brian, Jason and wife Mandi, Jeremy and wife Emily, Derek and wife Melanie, Seth, Joseph and wife Lizzie, Katlin, Jake and wife Rayanna, and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren: Jessica, Jonah, Caleb, Ethan, Eve, Casper, Marcus, Grayson, Larin, Ryley and Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, and grandson Timothy.
