She went to sleep here on earth, then woke up in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A funeral service for Betty June Lowe, 71, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Your Family Church, with Rev. Rick Dominic officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be this evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born to Benjamin Clifford and Elsie G. (Dykes) Maxwell on October 20, 1935, in Cumberland, Okla., and died Saturday, March 31, 2007, at her home in Enid, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Betty grew up and attended schools in Cumberland. On June 30, 1952, she married Cecil Lowe in Ardmore, and they made their home in Madill. In 1965, they moved to the Enid area, living in Kremlin and then Hillsdale, before residing in Enid. She was a homemaker and mother, and a member of Your Family Church of Enid. She also took pride and joy in her yard and flower gardens.

Betty is survived by her husband Cecil,of the home; six children, Doug Lowe of Enid, Rick Lowe and wife Bunny of Deer Creek, Robbie Lowe of Enid, Rhonda Voth of Enid, Sharla Cockrum and husband Robert of Waukomis, and Shannon Lowe of Enid; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Charlsie Boyd of Greenwood, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two granddaughters, Jenna and Dayna Lowe; son-in-law, Danny Voth; two brothers, W.R. and Charles Maxwell; and two sisters, Nina Williams and Lorene Raines.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundtion, cancer division.
