Jessie Myrean Loudenslager, age 89, departed this life December 13, 2007, in Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid, OK.
She was born October 29, 1918, in Drummond, OK to Richard and Edith (Cronister) Campbell.
She married Lee Murray, the father of her children, who preceded her in death in 1947. In 1955, she married Jack Loudenslager of Enid. He passed away in 1981.
She had been employed at Quality Laundry and then Oxford Cleaners for many years, as well as being a full time mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She and Jack were members of the Moose Club and they enjoyed playing Bingo together with friends.
She is survived by her children, Walter (Bud) Murray and his wife June, and Marlene Chance of Nescatunga, OK, Gerald (Sonny) Murray and Jim Murray and his wife, Joyce of Enid, and Judy Gaskill and her husband, Jack of Mo.; stepdaughters, Ruth Maxey and Beth Sak, both of Enid; she had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Jerry Murray, May 6, 1974, whose widow, Jeannie Murray resides in Roanoke, Va; three brothers, Frank Campbell, Victor Campbell, Marion Campbell and a sister, Delilah Murray.
Myrean was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
A family visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. before the service.
A graveside service will be held, Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at 2 p.m. in Garden Chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Steve Meier will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, heart division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
