Narcelyn Eleanor (Parriott) Lingenfelter "Shorty"
Saturday, February 23rd, 1929 - Friday, July 16th, 2021

A Celebration of Life service for Narcelyn E. Lingenfelter age 92 of Enid will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Kevin Strope officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Narcelyn was born February 23, 1929 in Enid to Harold and Fanny Mosher Parriott and passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at her home. She attended and graduated from Enid High School in 1947. She attended Enid Business College. She met James W. Lingenfelter in high school and married him on June 6, 1948 at the Davis Park Christian Church. She worked for Central National Bank for 2-1/2 years and for 28 years for five different tag office agents and Enid Tag office. She was a member of Davis Park Christian Church where she was active in the choir and Christian Women's Fellowship. Later they became members of Willow Road Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years James of the home, daughter Twyla Fletcher and daughter-in-law Nadine Lingenfelter, five grandchildren; Ashley (Jason) Currier, Micah Fletcher, Kristen (Nathan) Cue, Summer Fletcher, and Brandon Lingenfelter, seven great grandchildren and other family members.

She was also known as "Shorty" for many years a name chosen by her granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Dewayne Lingenfelter, grandson Mark Fletcher and sister Nevelyn Tippit.
