The graveside service for Patricia Ann Lea, 89-year-old Enid resident will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Jarrod Unruh will offiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. The family requests attenders wear masks.
Pat was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Sayre, Okla., to Tom and Ann (Byrd) Neely and died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was raised in Sayre and graduated from Sayre High School with the class of 1948. On March 19, 1948, she married H.A. "Homer" Lea in Sayre where the couple made their home. They began their family in Sayre and then Claremore for a time until moving to Enid in 1960.
Pat worked at Glenwood Elementary for 26 years before retiring. She and H.A. were long-time members of the First Baptist Church of Enid, where she was heavily involved in volunteering. She loved attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's sporting events, visiting family and took great pride in a clean home.
She is survived by her husband H.A. "Homer" Lea of the home; her sons, Wayne Lea and wife Pam of Burleson, Texas, and Keith Lea and wife Lisa of Enid; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer, Jeremy, Lindsey, Heather and Tyler; nine great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, one brother Tom, and a sister Tommie Jean.
