May 4, 1944 - October 7, 2017

Funeral services for Ervin Richard Leake, 73 of Tuttle, will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Enid First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dan Barrick officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday evening 5:00 to 6:30 at the funeral home.

Ervin was born on May 4, 1944 in Ottawa, Kansas to Richard and Bessie (Moses) Leake and died on October 7, 2017 at his home.

He worked at Vance Air Force Base as a jet engine mechanic. On December 22, 1963, he married Christine Christiansen and they made their home in Enid. They moved to Texas, where Ervin worked at NASA. They later moved back to Enid, and he continued to work at Vance Air Force Base. Ervin worked as a contract mechanic for the U.S. Army, retiring in 2009. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Ervin enjoyed Jeeping, and loved camping. He was a man of all traits and hobbies. Ervin was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Faye, and his two wives, Christine and Norma.

He is survived by his wife Cherry; children, Laron and Kelly Leake of Grand Rapids, Ohio, Joyce and Gary Tow Jr, of Tuttle, Teresa and Jody Helm of Enid, Kenneth and Teresa Leake of Sapulpa, OK; brother, Keith Leake of Kansas; sister, Fannie Doolittle of Washington; 21 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and other relatives.
