Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for George R. Lang, 94, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

George was born Aug. 13, 1920, in Fairmont, Okla., the son of George and Tillie Loesch Lang and passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014.

George was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII.

He was united in marriage to Elinora Maschmeier on March 11, 1987, in Enid. She preceded him in death Feb. 6, 2010.

George was a lifelong farmer.

George enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing bingo and feeding the wild animals on the farm. He will be remembered as a kind man with gentle spirit and a big heart.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Edna Lang of Enid; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Art Lang; sister, Elsie Ragoss and husband Walter; and a nephew, Joe Lang.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or donor’s choice, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
