Celebration of Life Service for Leola Lynch, 95, of Norman, formerly of Enid, will be Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in Anderson-Burris Chapel, with Rev. Terry Chick officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park. www.andersonburris.com

Celebration of Life Service for Leola Lynch, 95, will be Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Anderson-Burris Chapel with Pastor Terry Chick officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Leola was born September 5, 1926 in Lucien, Oklahoma to Frank and Nancy Wanda (West) Wiseman and passed away on April 29, 2022 in Norman, Oklahoma.

She grew up in Covington and Enid and went to Sinclair School. On January 14, 1945, Leola married Willie “Leon” Lynch and they made their home in Enid. She worked for 25 years at Larry Blacks Sporting Goods Store. Leola sewed on many patches on letter jackets. She was a longtime member of Bible Baptist Church. Leola loved playing dominos and witnessing to others.

Leola was preceded in death by her husband, Leon; daughter, Lonnie Minter; grandchildren, Brandi and Phillip; one brother and three sisters.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Doretha) Lynch, Linna (Bob) Cagle, Marsha (John) Ferris and Mike Minter; 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 7 great, great grandchildren; sister, Lacy Merriman; other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Bible Baptist Church Bus Ministry.
