Reverend Donna Luckette

Services celebrating and honoring the life of Reverend Donna Luckette, 80, of Enid, will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday June 9, 2023, in the House of Prayer, with Pastor Tony Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery; a family reception will follow the burial. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Donna was born March 6, 1943, to Lansing Noftsier and Dorothy Tamblin Noftsier in Watertown, New York, and passed from this life May 30, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in New York, graduating from high school in 1961.
She married in 1965 and moved to California, Arizona, Texas, and then to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1974, where she ran a food ministry and was ordained in the early 1980's at Oral Roberts University. In Tulsa she was a member of the Hope Fellowship church. She then moved to Enid in 2010. She was an active member of the House of Prayer.
She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and loved animals, especially her little dogs. She was always willing to help anyone and was a "mother" to everyone, loving unconditionally and always giving hope when there was none.
She is survived by one daughter, Paula Luckette; two sons, Frank Luckette and Paul Luckette "Anthony Merrick"; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lansing and Dorothy; twelve full siblings; and six half-siblings.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the House of Prayer, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
