Bobett Jean Larkey
July 10, 1927 - June 22, 2024
Funeral service for Bobett Jean Larkey, 96 of Enid, will be 10:00 am Monday, July 1, 2024 in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nathan Oney officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Bobett was born on July 10, 1927 in Enid, Oklahoma to Marvin Lester and Maude Ruby (Griffin) Sheets and passed away June 22, 2024 in Savannah, Texas with her family by her side.
She grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. Bobett then went to Enid Business College. On December 26, 1962, she married Irvin Larkey in Enid, where they made their home. Bobett worked at Enid Production Credit for 16 years. She was a member of New Hope Methodist Church, Bethany Home Extension Club, Enid Gem and Mineral Society. Bobett enjoyed bus trips, cruises with family and friends and playing the piano. She volunteered at elementary schools and was on a bowling league for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin; parents; and brother, Jack Sheets.
She is survived by her daughter and husband, Diane Larkey and Gerald Cutcomb; granddaughter, Caitlyn Cutcomb; sister-in-law, Valera Sheets; nephews, Sam and Jerry Sheets; nieces, Kathy Rhinehart, Nancy Rahm, and Nancy Sheets; many friends.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to New Hope Methodist Church.
